Come to know the North of Chile , Dakar Route
We suggest you start your journey on route 3 from Santiago to La Serena and continue on Route 4 to Bahia Inglesa. Proceed along the coastal road to Caldera and Chañaral, passing the Park of Pan de Azucar. Then enter the town of Taltal along a highly demanding rocky coastal road until you reach the city of Antofagasta. Alternatively you can make the journey on a paved road.
Afterwards you head towards the mountains on a paved road towards Calama, where the world’s largest open pit mine, Chuquicamata, is located. From there you reach San Pedro de Atacama, where you can visit many and beautiful places such as the Valle de la Luna, salt flats or the Geyser of Tatío. An unforgettable trip.
